In China you will see the very ancient to the futuristic.  I have chosen here
some older and some unique sights for your viewing pleasure.  The design
at the top of the page is from a beautifully-painted covered walkway that an
emperor built at the Summer Palace so his mother could walk in the rain
without getting wet.

This is the drum tower, all that remains from the
old city gate in Beijing.  The drummer used to
beat out the time for the city residents and call
them together for special occasions.
The Phoenix represented the Empress.
We loved China.  It was the most incredible trip we have ever taken.
Great experience! We learned so much. Thank you very much.

Silk-- you will see the whole process
from the tightly-wound silk worm
cocoons to the finished product.
The silk is woven into colorful quilts
and duvets, then embroidered in
equally vibrant hues.
This worker is embroidering
with silk threads on both sides
of the silk cloth simultaneously!
This silk rug factory looks like a
museum from outside.  Museum
quality rugs are made and sold
inside.
This is a letter of gratitude to all of you for our most magnificent trip to China.  I was a bit hesitant about visiting a
place so far away from home.  I want to report that my two sisters and I had the most wonderful experience of our
life. We couldn’t believe our good fortune in finding this tour and have shared the information with all of our
relatives, friends and colleagues about the tremendous value of the tour, the ancient monuments, tombs,
treasures. Great job! Thank you again, China!

Hidden away behind an unimposing facade is the most
magnificent garden.  Inside, a unique, tranquil, artfully-
designed venue awaits you around each corner.

This round door with the cool interior amongst the banana
trees was a pleasant surprise.

As you move from Beijing in the north to Shanghai and
vicinity farther South, the vegetation changes from
temperate to semitropical.

I recently returned from your tour of China. I wanted to say THANK YOU for this amazing experience! This was
my best trip to China and it was more than I could have hoped for.  At the same time, I realized that I had only
scratched the surface and I am eager to return and see more.
I want to compliment your company on the quality of the operation. The itinerary was interesting and well
planned. The hotels and restaurants were well chosen. Our guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Throughout China, even in the large
cities many people still use bicycles as
their transportation.

The writing on the shop is in English as
well as Chinese.  Many signs you see are

at home in a foreign country!
